Welcome to Camp McDougall

Since 1960, Camp McDougall has been a place where kids discover new adventures, build lifelong friendships, and learn in an environment that promotes confidence, creativity, and personal growth. Nestled on the stunning shores of Lake Huron, Camp McDougall is an accredited member of both the Ontario Camping Association and the United Church of Canada, dedicated to delivering high-quality summer experiences that stay with campers for a lifetime.

What started as a small, volunteer-run camp has evolved into a vibrant and dynamic summer destination for kids of all ages. Today, we are proud to operate with a dedicated team of passionate staff, including a Camp Director, skilled staff, and volunteers all working together to offer a range of fun, challenging activities like canoeing, swimming, arts and crafts and more!

Camp McDougall has grown right alongside our campers. From the humble beginnings of the original lodge to the expanded facilities of today, we’ve ensured our camp can support a wide range of activities, while still preserving its natural beauty. Our cabins, dining hall, kitchen, and waterfront areas ensure that campers will enjoy a safe and fun-filled stay.

At Camp McDougall, we believe in helping youth discover their potential through meaningful summer activities that foster learning, independence, teamwork, and leadership skills. Through programs like canoeing, swimming, arts and crafts, and THE BOG, we provide experiences that help kids discover their strengths and gain confidence to take on new challenges.

Whether it’s the thrill of mastering a paddle stroke, the joy of a campfire song, playing capture the flag, or the quiet reflection of a sunset over the lake, Camp McDougall offers unforgettable moments that shape the lives of our campers.
